D1 Track & Field Camp with Coach Cota

Who: 7th-12th Grade Student-Athletes
Whether it is your first or fourth year going out for track, Coach Cota’s Track & Field Camp is a great place to get prepared for the upcoming high school season.
Also open to coaches to come see what your athletes are learning at camp.

What: Sprints & Hurdles and Jump specific workouts
Both will have a focus on acceleration and max velocity sprint mechanics with specifics for block starts, approaches, long jump and triple jump technique. Event-specific plyometrics, core work, and mobility will also be part of the workouts.

Coach Cota is a former SDSU long jumper and multi-event athlete. She channeled her love for track & field and coaching into the role as Human Performance Specialist for the USD Track & Field and Cross Country programs, where she was part of numerous Summit League Championship teams. She is now back in Sioux Falls at D1 Sports Training, excited to bring that love for track & field to area athletes.
